The highly anticipated tenth season of Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) is scheduled to kick off on July 26, 2025, with a bold promise to deliver a fresh experience and the largest grand prize in the show’s history — a staggering ₦150 million.

This exciting announcement was made by MultiChoice Nigeria during a press briefing on Wednesday. Organisers revealed that this year’s edition would elevate the game to unprecedented levels, building on the show’s evolution since its debut in 2006.

Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the long-standing host known for his charm and captivating presence, will once again lead audiences through the thrilling journey of competition, drama, and strategy.

Unlike last season’s “No Loose Guard” format that featured housemates entering in pairs, Season 10 is expected to introduce a completely new structure. While the exact details are still under wraps, in-person auditions were held between May 16 and 18 at various locations across Nigeria.

Season 9 saw Kellyrae emerge victorious, making history as the first married housemate to win the show and taking home a ₦100 million prize.

Now celebrating its tenth anniversary, BBNaija is gearing up to raise the bar even higher, promising fans a reinvention of the reality show experience and contestants the chance to win its most lucrative prize yet.
