The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has officially announced the postponement of the highly anticipated Nollywood South Africa Actors’ Roundtable (NSAR) 2025 event.
Originally scheduled to hold earlier in July, the event will now take place from Wednesday, July 16th to Sunday, July 20th, 2025.
According to a statement issued by the Guild, the shift became necessary due to a growing number of new participants joining the program, as well as the need to finalize pending visa applications for international delegates.
“This one-week adjustment from the original date is also to ensure that planning, flight bookings, and hotel logistics are fully aligned for a smooth and impactful experience,” the statement read.
The Guild acknowledged that the change may cause some inconvenience but reassured attendees that the decision was made with everyone’s best interest in mind—particularly delegates traveling from various African countries.
“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but please know this is being done in the best interest of all delegates traveling from across Africa.”
NSAR 2025 is expected to be a landmark event, bringing together top talents, stakeholders, and influencers from across the African film industry for dialogue, collaboration, and celebration of continental creativity.
