Michael Uyi Agho, popularly known as Godson and known for his close ties with music star Wizkid, has voiced serious concern over the current state of legendary Nigerian singer 2Baba, following reports of his remarriage to Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru.

Godson, in a heartfelt social media post, questioned whether Nigerians were going to stand by while “women ruin our legend.” Expressing deep disappointment, he referred to 2Baba as his “mentor, helper, and backbone” and called out the artist’s inner circle for staying silent.

He lamented:
“Wait o, naso Nigerians just allow women ruin our legend, my mentor, my helper, my backbone. From Annie, go Natasha. I honestly wish I could tag his useless friends.
Free 2face Idibia.
Say No to drugs.
2face needs help.
2baba is screaming for help, and we are using him to catch cruise.”

Godson wasn’t alone in raising the alarm. Several other celebrities have also weighed in on the unfolding situation.

2Baba’s younger brother, Charles Idibia, compared the singer’s experience to going “from inside the frying pan and thrown into an industrial furnace,” accusing Natasha of manipulation and emotional control. He urged his brother to open his eyes, particularly for the sake of his children.

Media personality Do2dtun echoed similar sentiments, observing that 2Baba typically doesn’t address such personal issues publicly. “I believe he is vulnerable,” Do2dtun said, adding that someone appears to be “milking it and forcing him to be who he isn’t.”

Comedian Ayo Makun (AY) highlighted society’s tendency to quickly blame public figures without considering their emotional or mental well-being. “No one is questioning if the singer is okay. As men, we’re raised to suffer in silence whether right or wrong,” he remarked.

Singer Cynthia Morgan directed her comments at Natasha, stating that it’s unrealistic to expect someone like 2Baba to suddenly embrace monogamy. She also asked if the music star is a Christian and a church leader, calling on fans to pray for him.

Controversial media figure Daddy Freeze didn’t hold back, saying 2Baba appears to be declining. “From a Bentley to a Corolla,” he described, noting the contrast between Annie Idibia, who he claims is “evolving into a Queen,” and 2Baba, who he warned may be turning into “RadioGad” or even a “puppet.”

The public concern continues to grow as fans and celebrities alike call for clarity, support, and reflection on the welfare of one of Nigeria’s music legends.
