Nollywood star Angela Okorie has returned to social media with an uplifting message for her followers, urging them not to be disheartened by the success of others.

In a heartfelt and motivational Instagram post, the actress encouraged her millions of fans to reject jealousy and envy, even when it seems like others are enjoying the very blessings they are still praying for.

"Don’t get discouraged by the success of others. Sometimes, what you are praying to have is what someone else has in abundance. Refuse to be envious or jealous. That you notice someone has it around you is proof-positive that yours is around the corner," she wrote.

Okorie emphasized the power of mindset and belief, especially when witnessing others’ achievements. According to her, testimonies should inspire rather than intimidate, as they signify that blessings are close.

"When you hear a testimony, the power and favour that produced that testimony is transmitted to you if you believe and accept it. More so, when God blesses someone around you, and you hear about it, it shows He is in the neighbourhood; attract Him with your faith. But remember, you cannot attract what you despise," she said.

She concluded with a powerful reminder about the importance of attitude, suggesting that how we react to good things around us plays a greater role in shaping our lives than prayer alone.
