Nollywood actor Lekan Olatunji has opened up about the devastating car accident he was involved in back in 2022 — an incident he says nearly took his life.
In a recent interview, the Yoruba movie star recounted the traumatic experience, revealing that the accident left him hospitalized for three months and battling memory loss. While reflecting on his recovery journey, Olatunji expressed deep gratitude to God for sparing his life, and he also gave credit to the medical team who helped him pull through.
“There was a time I had an accident and it wasn’t easy, because I was in the hospital for three months with a memory loss, so I thank God for His grace. Here I am doing well," he shared.
He emphasized the critical role doctors played in his recovery, urging people to acknowledge their efforts alongside divine intervention.
“We should give the doctors their own praise and God His glory. Even my doctors’ friend were shocked and said they wouldn’t believe me if they hadn’t seen me, because they saw my skull. I went through a series of surgeries, but I thank God because it wasn’t easy,” he said.
The actor’s testimony has since inspired many fans, who continue to celebrate his resilience and remarkable recovery.
