Popular Nollywood actress, Wumi Toriola, has stirred social media conversations once again with a bold take on how some people justify erratic behavior by blaming it on hormones.
In a post shared via Instagram, the outspoken screen diva called out individuals who “act out” and later hide behind biological excuses while refusing to own up to their actions.
Wumi pointed out that everyone has hormonal fluctuations, including herself, yet it doesn't excuse rudeness or manipulative tendencies.
She emphasized that blaming hormones has become a shield for some to act inappropriately without accountability. In her words, when people are treated with the same energy they dish out, they suddenly become victims.
Taking a humorous jab, the actress remarked on secreting both oestrogen and testosterone herself, sarcastically suggesting that everyone might as well “run mad together” if hormones are the new excuse for irresponsibility.
This isn’t the first time Wumi has used her platform to air controversial views. The actress, known for her fiery personality and sharp responses, previously criticized lifestyle influencer Chef T for ignoring her messages during the promotion of her film Queen Lateefah. She has also clapped back at fans and colleagues who undermine her career, boldly owning her journey and embracing her growth, especially through YouTube.
