Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has showered heartfelt praise on her senior colleague and filmmaker Funke Akindele, applauding her influence and consistency in the Nigerian film industry.
Sharing a video clip on Instagram of herself watching Aiyetoro Town season two on YouTube, Nkechi hailed Funke as a powerhouse, describing her as “unstoppable” and “undefeated.”
“All the way from Canada, peep the Star girl’s voice mama @funkejenifaakindele you remain a force, unstoppable, undefeated, Numero Uno,” she wrote.
Reflecting on Funke’s long-standing impact in the industry, Nkechi acknowledged the filmmaker’s ability to create stars and expressed gratitude for her unwavering support.
“You did this so many years ago; you are doing it again. I bless GOD in your life, maami. Thank you for believing in me even tho I have been distant… I do not take your love for granted; you are indeed a star maker. Always know that I love you beyond words,” she added.
