The National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has declared Nigerian singer and social media personality, Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington, wanted over serious allegations including rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking.

The agency made the announcement via its official Instagram account @officialnaptip on Friday, urging the public to assist in locating the controversial entertainer.

“WANTED BY NAPTIP. Darlington Okoye, aka Speed Darlington, is wanted in connection with alleged offences including rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking. Anyone with credible information on his whereabouts is urged to contact NAPTIP immediately. Call: 07030000203, info@naptip.gov.ng,” the statement read.

This move follows Speed Darlington’s failure to honour an earlier invitation extended to him by the agency after he made shocking claims during a live Instagram session. In the now-viral clip, the U.S.-based singer had openly bragged about having sexual relations with a 15-year-old girl, sparking outrage and calls for investigation.

Despite public backlash and mounting pressure from rights groups, the musician did not present himself for questioning, prompting NAPTIP to escalate the case by declaring him wanted.

Speed Darlington, who is known for his eccentric online presence and often controversial remarks, has yet to respond publicly to the allegations or the agency’s action.

The announcement has stirred reactions on social media, with many Nigerians calling for a thorough investigation and swift justice. Legal experts have also weighed in, warning that the nature of the allegations could lead to serious legal consequences if proven true.

NAPTIP continues to urge anyone with helpful information to come forward, as the agency intensifies efforts to bring the suspect to justice and protect vulnerable individuals from exploitation.
