Nollywood actress Biola Bayo has received an outpouring of love and support from her colleagues after publicly sharing the news of her separation from her husband.

In an emotional post marking her ex-husband's birthday, the Yoruba movie star revealed that the couple had gone their separate ways since April of the previous year. Despite the split, she emphasized their commitment to co-parenting their son in a mature and peaceful manner.

Addressing her fans and supporters, Biola offered a heartfelt apology to anyone who may feel let down by the announcement. She expressed her hopes that the marriage could have worked out but noted, “It’s best to stay alive to tell the story.” She also asked for continued prayers, revealing the personal pain she's endured. “It’s ironic how I go around making people happy while my pillow has been soaked with tears almost every night for the past 14 months,” she wrote.

Following her announcement, several Nollywood colleagues took to her comment section to show their love and encouragement.

Alesh Sanni expressed shock with, “Oh my God.”

Bukunmi Oluwashina wrote, “It is well, big sis. Sending you loads of love and hugs.”

Regina Chukwu echoed the sentiment, stating, “Biola, it’s well.”

Bukola Arugba penned a touching message: “Sometimes I ask, who will put smiles on the face of the one who finds joy in putting smiles on the faces of others? Abiola, the same God that uses you to put smiles on the faces of others will put a big and genuine smile on yours in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.”

Jayeola Monje responded emotionally with, “Moku o.”

As she navigates this difficult chapter, Biola Bayo continues to receive strength and support from her industry family and fans alike.
