Popular Nigerian singer and producer, Young John, has opened up about how his colleague, Davido, often leaves him feeling financially intimidated. The ‘Go Hard Or Go Home’ crooner made this revelation during a sideline interview at the 2025 Paris Fashion Week in France.
When asked if he had ever met someone who made him feel broke, Young John responded without hesitation:
“Too many times, bro. Davido. Whenever I see his money, I’m like, I need to work hard and drop more songs.”
According to the singer, while Davido’s wealth can be overwhelming, it also serves as a source of motivation for him to work harder and release more music. He admitted that the superstar’s level of success pushes him to remain consistent and focused in his career.
