Businessman and philanthropist Churchill Olakunle has reacted to growing speculation about alleged troubles in his marriage to actress Rosy Meurer.
The rumour mill went into overdrive following social media whispers that the couple might be experiencing a fallout, especially after some fans noticed a lack of recent public displays of affection.
Taking to Instagram to set the record straight, Churchill dismissed the claims, sharing that his wife and children are currently enjoying a summer vacation in Paris. Alongside a video post, he joked in Pidgin, “I hear say I dey trend, who cook am? My family dey Disney Paris dey enjoy summer life. Una go wait until menopause come. Mrh I see you.”
His post quickly attracted mixed reactions from fans. While some hailed him for defending his family, others questioned why the couple hadn’t celebrated each other publicly on their birthdays.
One follower asked pointedly why Churchill didn’t post his wife on her birthday, yet celebrated his son’s birthday just two days later. Others accused him of using the trip to Paris as damage control.
