Controversial Nigerian internet personality and self-acclaimed “Mummy of Lagos,” Bobrisky, has taken to social media once again—this time to offer dating advice to women. Known for his outspoken nature and frequent commentary on relationships, Bobrisky did not hold back as he highlighted a number of behaviors he considers to be serious red flags when it comes to choosing a partner.
In a recent social media post, the crossdresser outlined specific traits he believes women should be wary of when assessing potential romantic partners. Bobrisky emphasized that women need to be more vigilant and discerning, stating that certain habits men exhibit on social media should not be ignored.
According to him, “Any man that comments on a blog is a red flag.” He went on to explain that such men often lack discretion and may be prone to unnecessary drama or gossip. Bobrisky also expressed concern about men who have an excessive number of female friends on Instagram, suggesting that this may indicate questionable intentions or a lack of seriousness in relationships. “Men that have too much Instagram female friends, and follow blogs is a red flag,” he wrote.
But perhaps the most significant warning came when Bobrisky addressed financial stability. He didn’t mince words, stating bluntly that, “Above all, men that are broke is a disaster.” The social media influencer made it clear that financial incapability, in his view, is not just a red flag but a dealbreaker.
The post has since sparked a range of reactions online, with some agreeing with his sentiments and others criticizing his views as overly materialistic or judgmental. Nonetheless, Bobrisky remains unbothered, standing firm on his dating advice.
As always, the “Mummy of Lagos” continues to generate conversations and controversy in equal measure—never afraid to speak his truth, no matter how polarizing it may be.
