Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has issued a fiery response to criticism from an unnamed individual who reportedly belittled her career and lifestyle.
In a strongly worded Instagram post, the actress, known for her rising presence in the industry, defended her source of income, revealing that she earns between five to ten million naira monthly through what she described as legitimate business ventures. She emphasized that her success does not rely on any form of immoral activity.
“Doing my legit peanut business, as you call it, and making 5 – 10m monthly (the least) gives me more respect than opening my legs for people’s husbands to sponsor a fake life,” she wrote.
Martins added that while she can afford a more luxurious car than her current Toyota Venza, such purchases are not a priority for her at the moment. She stressed that she is focused on building her business and living a drama-free life.
“I am a legit hustler. Stop comparing me to Olosho girls who don’t get direction in life aside from posting luxury photos,” she said.
The actress warned the unnamed individual to stop speaking ill of her behind her back, noting that she has seen the conversations being shared through mutual contacts.
“The fact I haven’t confronted you doesn’t mean I haven’t seen your chat! Same person you gossip me to sends screenshots of your chats to me!”
Sarah also distanced herself from controversies, stating that aside from her past involvement with Judy Austin, she has kept a low profile and focused solely on her business.
“The only thing that gets my attention is my business! The fact I don’t post my wins on social media doesn’t mean I’m not doing well… I don’t do cartel shit!”
Wrapping up her post, she called on critics to respect her space and let her live in peace: “Leave me alone.”
