Mr P Opens Up On P-Square Split, Says Solo Career Brings Joy

Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P from the iconic P-Square duo, has addressed his separation from his twin brother, Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy.

In a recent interview with Cool FM Lagos, Mr P revealed that pursuing a solo career has brought him happiness and a renewed sense of fulfillment. He urged fans to respect their decision to go separate ways, explaining that despite their efforts to stay together as a duo, things were no longer working.

“There’s a joy that comes with going solo. Please respect our decisions. We’ve tried it, it’s not working,” he said.

It is recalled that Paul Okoye confirmed in August last year that P-Square had split once again. The pair first parted ways in 2016 but reunited in 2021 before calling it quits again.
