Iyabo Ojo Praises Kudirat Ogunro For Helping Raise Her Kids During Early Acting Days

Nollywood star and mother of the bride, Iyabo Ojo, has publicly expressed her heartfelt appreciation to her junior colleague, Kudirat Ogunro, for her unwavering support in raising her children, especially during the early days of her acting career.

As preparations continued for her daughter Priscilla’s wedding, Iyabo took a moment to acknowledge Kudirat—fondly known as Kudi Alagbo—for stepping in to care for Priscilla and her brother, Festus, at a time when Iyabo had to be away frequently due to work commitments on movie sets.

Reflecting on the sacrifices and help she received, Iyabo said Kudirat was instrumental in ensuring the children were well-fed, nurtured, and cared for in her absence.

“She helped raise Priscilla,” Iyabo said. “Thank you so much for the times I had to travel and hustle on movie sets. You stayed back, cared for Priscilla, and made sure she and Festus were fed and trained properly.”

The touching tribute came during the final leg of Priscilla’s wedding ceremonies and was captured in a viral video where Iyabo, dressed in her ceremonial attire, was seen warmly embracing Kudirat and expressing her gratitude.
