Nollywood actor Godwin Nnadiekwe has reportedly been hospitalized after sustaining an injury on a movie set. The incident occurred during a film shoot involving well-known actor Zubby Michael, and has since drawn concern from fans and colleagues in the industry.
According to Nnadiekwe, the injury was the result of an unexpected act during the filming of a scene. He recounted that he received a forceful kick to the chest from fellow actor Zubby Michael — a move that, he emphasized, was neither part of the script nor instructed by the director.
“I received a kick to the chest from my colleague that wasn’t part of the script or directed by the director,” Nnadiekwe stated, expressing shock over the turn of events. The force of the kick was reportedly strong enough to cause serious discomfort, ultimately leading to his hospitalization.
Though full details regarding his current medical condition have not been disclosed, sources close to the actor confirm that he is receiving proper care and undergoing observation.
The incident has sparked conversations about on-set safety protocols and the responsibilities of actors to follow the agreed-upon choreography and direction during action sequences.
Neither Zubby Michael nor the production team has released an official statement addressing the matter as of the time of this report. Fans continue to send their well-wishes to Nnadiekwe, hoping for his swift recovery and further clarification regarding the incident.
