Content creator Honey Berry has taken to Instagram to address growing speculation about her relationship with fellow entertainer MC Freedom. In a candid statement, she revealed that their perceived romance was never genuine and that all the affectionate content shared online was entirely scripted for entertainment purposes.
"The relationship between me and MC Freedom was never real. All the lovey-dovey videos and content we shared were purely scripted and created for entertainment purposes. It was all content creation and nothing more," she explained.
The mother of one cited health concerns as part of the reason she’s stepping away from the storyline, stating clearly that she is no longer interested in continuing that narrative.
“I’m officially ending that phase, not out of malice but for my own peace of mind and for personal reasons I’d rather keep private,” she said. “I sincerely apologise if anyone felt misled or took it the wrong way.”
Honey Berry emphasized that the decision wasn’t influenced by negativity but rather a desire to prioritize her well-being. She acknowledged the creativity and enjoyment that came with the project but felt it necessary to be transparent with her followers.
“While I truly enjoyed the creativity and fun during the process, I feel it’s only right to come here and clear the air since this is where it all started,” she noted.
She concluded her statement by reaffirming that there was never a romantic relationship between her and MC Freedom. “Once again, MC Freedom is not my boyfriend, and we are not in any romantic relationship,” she confirmed.
Honey Berry extended gratitude to her fans for their support, adding, “Thank you for always making me smile. I appreciate that, and thank you all for your understanding and continued support.”
