It was meant to be a moment of pure celebration and joy as Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo proudly watched her daughter, Priscilla, take the spotlight during the grand finale of her wedding festivities in Tanzania. However, the joyous occasion took an unexpected turn when an overzealous bouncer attempted to force the veteran actress off the stage in the middle of her daughter’s big moment.
The incident, which quickly became a talking point online, occurred during the final part of the lavish destination wedding, where music, dancing, and fanfare were at their peak. Iyabo, known for her vibrant presence and strong bond with her daughter, joined the stage to dance in celebration. But things got awkward when a bouncer, apparently unaware of who she was or perhaps acting too strictly, tried to usher her off.

"Imagine a bouncer trying to control you on your own daughter's wedding day," she wrote in a post, clearly still taken aback by the ordeal. "An overzealous bouncer trying to bounce Iyabo Ojo off stage during her daughter's grand finale stage dance in Tanzania... which is a form of embarrassment."
The actress’ comments have drawn a wave of support from fans and fellow celebrities, many of whom believe that the security team should have been more informed about the VIP guests, particularly immediate family members of the bride.
Though the moment caused a brief disruption, it did not overshadow the overall joy and love that marked the occasion. Priscilla's wedding was still widely praised for its elegance and grandeur, with many fans congratulating the family and admiring the close bond between Iyabo and her daughter.
