Nollywood actress Chioma Akpotha has shared a heartfelt glimpse into the surprise celebration held in her honour following her recent win at the 11th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), where she clinched the award for Best Lead Actress.
Taking to her Instagram page, the acclaimed actress posted a video from the intimate gathering, which was organized by her family and close friends to celebrate her big achievement. In an emotional caption, Akpotha revealed that the night left her overwhelmed with joy and gratitude.
“I’m still overwhelmed! A few days ago, my family and loved ones planned a beautiful night out to celebrate our AMVCA win, and boy, was it an amazing night! I cried, crewed and crieded,” she wrote.
Reflecting on the experience, she described the support and love she received as healing. “To be loved, accepted, seen and celebrated is such great medicine for the heart. It is a blessing!”
