Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has proudly declared that he built his music career from the ground up without any godfather or industry co-signs. 

The singer made this statement while celebrating a new personal achievement surpassing 11 million monthly listeners on Spotify for the first time.

This milestone comes on the heels of his recently released fifth studio album, 5ive, which has continued to gain massive traction globally.
