Nigerian music executive Ubi Franklin has broken his silence regarding viral rumours suggesting he was involved in a physical altercation with popular socialite Cubana Chief Priest.
Speculation had surfaced online claiming the duo engaged in a heated brawl at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja. According to an alleged eyewitness account, the confrontation reportedly turned into a full-blown fistfight, with both men allegedly trading blows in front of a stunned crowd. Descriptions of the incident painted it as intense and chaotic.
However, Franklin swiftly shut down the rumours in a now-deleted Instagram story, branding the claims as baseless and absurd. He took aim at the source of the report, suggesting it was fabricated by a blogger seeking attention.
“Anyone who believes this story, especially the narrative on Instablog written by a blogger in an attempt for relevance, is a f**l lol,” he wrote.
Franklin’s statement appears aimed at dispelling any notion of a feud, calling the reports nothing more than sensational gossip.
