A vendor has publicly accused Nigerian singer, Zlatan Ibile, of owing her the sum of N510,000 following his clothing pop-up event in Cape Town, South Africa.
The vendor took to social media to call out the singer, stating that despite several efforts to reach him through platforms like Snapchat and Instagram, she has received no response. She claimed she participated in Zlatan’s pop-up event and provided goods or services, but has yet to be paid.
In her comment, which she posted under one of Zlatan’s recent posts, she identified herself as the girl who sold items at the event and politely pleaded with the artiste to pay up, citing pressing bills and financial responsibilities.
So far, Zlatan has not reacted to the claim, nor has any representative of his team issued a statement. The allegation has stirred reactions online, with some social media users backing the vendor and urging Zlatan to settle the alleged debt, while others have advised caution, insisting the singer should be given the benefit of the doubt until he responds.
This is not the first time a celebrity is being called out over unsettled debts, as vendors increasingly turn to social media to demand accountability. The move has become a growing trend, especially among small business owners who feel ignored or sidelined after offering their services.
Zlatan, who has remained active online in recent days, is yet to acknowledge the situation publicly. Whether this issue will be resolved quietly or develop further remains to be seen.
Fans continue to monitor the situation closely, hoping for clarity from the singer’s camp.
