Pretty Mike of Lagos is once again in the limelight, but this time it’s due to his claims about Iyabo Ojo, the mother of viral bride Priscilla Ojo, and her request to him regarding his notorious antics.
In a post on Instagram, Pretty Mike revealed that Iyabo Ojo, alongside her partner Paulo Okoye, personally asked him to tone down his eccentric behaviors ahead of the much-anticipated JP2025 wedding.
According to Pretty Mike, the duo reached out to him before the event, urging him to maintain a more subdued presence so as not to upset the Tanzanian in-laws or steal the spotlight from the wedding.
He humorously recounted his conversation with Iyabo Ojo, saying she had begged him not to come in his usual flamboyant style, as her in-laws had concerns about her being perceived as "wacko."
Adding to the drama, Pretty Mike also shared a conversation with the bride’s mother's partner, Paulo Okoye, who echoed the same sentiment, asking him to "tune it down a little" while still putting on a show.
Despite the plea for moderation, Pretty Mike revealed that some of his friends, including those on the wedding train, were urging him to bring his signature energy to the event and keep things lively.
Famous for his dramatic entrances, such as walking with chained human "pets" or arriving at events in coffin-themed entourages, Pretty Mike has made a name for himself as the king of Lagos’ theatrical appearances.
In his post, he ended with a playful message to the Tanzanian in-laws, emphasizing that marrying into Nigerian culture means accepting the full spectrum of its lively traditions.
His humorous post has since gone viral, adding another layer of intrigue to the highly publicized JP2025 wedding.
