Joeboy, the Nigerian singer and songwriter, has expressed his commitment to being a positive influence on Nigerian youth and fans worldwide.
In a recent interview, he shared that his personal motto has always been to spread positivity, even before gaining fame.
He explained that the title of his upcoming album, Viva Lavida, symbolizes living freely, embracing life, and promoting good vibes.
He said, “The title of my new album, ‘Viva Lavida,’ means living free, enjoying life, good vibrations, and good energy.” Joeboy also mentioned that people often describe his music as soothing, and that a friend gave him the nickname Lavida Boy, which inspired the concept behind the album and future events, including the upcoming Lavida Festival.
He added, “I feel like there’s so much negativity in the world. Everybody’s trying to be toxic, everybody’s trying to huff and puff.”
Signed to Warner Music Africa, Joeboy is also the founder of his record label, Young Legend.
