It’s a moment of pride and joy for Nollywood actor Muyideen Oladapo as his daughter, Olamide, graduates with distinction from a prestigious university in Ireland.
Sharing the exciting news on Instagram, the actor revealed that his daughter earned a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Theatre and Performance from Trinity College, Dublin. Overflowing with pride, he described her academic feat as a remarkable achievement and hailed her as brave, beautiful, and full of wisdom.
“You are brave, you are capable, you are pretty, and you can accomplish anything your heart desires,” Oladapo gushed in his post.
He went on to call her an answer to prayers he never knew he made, praying for continued divine guidance on her journey. “Even at such a young age, you are full of wisdom, kindness, compassion, and courage. Congratulations, my daughter. Thank you for being the answer to the prayer I hadn’t realized I asked for,” he added.
The actor, clearly in high spirits, joked about reuniting with her again in a PhD class, ending with, “You have made us proud.”
His post drew warm reactions from colleagues and fans alike. Filmmaker Kazim Adeoti commented, “Congratulations, my dear brother. Take your flowers. Keep making Daddy proud.”
Actor Damola Olatunji added, “Congratulations egbon,” while actress Kehinde Bankole simply wrote, “Congratulations.”
Others like Bisola Badmus, Mistura Asuramu, Bukunmi Oluwashina, and Rotimi Salami also joined in celebrating the milestone, describing the moment as a “proud father” occasion and hailing Olamide’s brilliance.
