Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, aka Portable, and Nollywood actor Ijoba Lande are embroiled in a feud over a song Portable released about Lande’s marital issues.
Lande expressed his displeasure with Portable's usage of his marital troubles in a song in a video posted online.
Lande reminded the singer of how he had previously shared his own marital struggles publicly. The actor then vowed that Portable would face the consequences of his actions.
He said, “Portable, I see all the nonsense you are doing. You are using my life story to sing. You will pay for it. When they slept with one of your wives the other time, you were crying all over the internet.
“Portable, don’t worry o, I’ve seen all the rubbish you have been doing. The problem you will face is preparing itself for you to be using my life’s story to sing? Don’t worry. This useless thing that out of his five wives, people were sleeping with just one of them and he started crying and complaining around, you’re now using my life’s story to sing, making an album with my matter, don’t worry.”
In response, Portable mocked Lande further, highlighting how they had slept with the actor’s wife, yet he was still kneeling and expressing gratitude to the person involved.
Last month Ijoba Lande had accused Baba Tee of allegedly causing the breakdown of his marriage. He revealed that his wife left their home in January 2025 and had not been intimate with him for eight months. The rising actor stated that he is now both the father and mother to their child.
In response to the accusation, Baba Tee initially denied it and threatened to file a lawsuit. However, he later confessed to having an affair with her, explaining that it happened in an unexpected and intoxicated situation.
He claimed that he did not know the woman was Lande’s wife and offered an apology to him, urging men to be cautious around women.
