Nigerian street-pop artist Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable Zazu, has sparked a new controversy with Fuji music icon Saheed Osupa.
Portable, who recently made headlines for his public reconciliation with comedian and skit maker Ijoba Lande—after kneeling and prostrating to the man who had an affair with his wife—has now taunted Fuji star Saheed Osupa over his physical appearance in a new video.
In a recent video, Portable, speaking in Yoruba, referred to Saheed Osupa as a “big-for-nothing” individual.
Portable also took the opportunity to praise Pasuma, a colleague of Saheed Osupa, for treating him with kindness, describing how Pasuma embraced him like a child.
"Saheed Osupa, you are just big for nothing. If you are not ready to embrace me, I will drag you. You sing Fuji while I sing hip hop. This is why I love Paso, he embraced me like his own child. He is a good man. You are senseless’, Portable partly said in the video.
Portable’s outburst against Saheed Osupa stems from the alleged removal of the Zaazu crooner’s song “Portable” from Spotify and other streaming platforms by the Fuji singer due to copyright infringement.
