Nigerian actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham is marking a significant milestone as her latest film, Alakada Bad and Boujee, earns N500 million at the box office, securing its place as the fifth highest-grossing movie ever.
Abraham thanked her supporters, emphasising her commitment to exceeding past successes and pushing boundaries in the film industry.
She shared that her biggest competition is herself, as she constantly strives to surpass her previous records with every new project.
Abraham wrote: “Grateful for every step of this journey! From day one, I’ve always pushed myself to surpass my last achievement, and today, we’ve hit 500M Naira at the box office, making this the 5th highest-grossing movie of all time! Every time I step into the cinemas, I strive to do better than before, to break boundaries and set new standards. I compete against my last achievement always. Beating past record is the goal! This record stood to be broken in my next outing by God’s grace. This is just the beginning, and I’m beyond thankful to all my supporters who made this possible. We keep rising!”
