Media personality Toke Makinwa has sparked conversations after candidly reflecting on her life at 40, revealing that if she had remarried, she would have likely divorced again.
Speaking on her Toke Moments podcast, she admitted that while being single and childless once weighed heavily on her, she has now fully embraced her reality and no longer feels pressured by societal expectations.
"I used to feel bad about it, but I have built an empire, I’m one of Africa’s most recognized voices, and I have a loving family. Life is about perspective," she stated.

"If I had remarried, I would likely be divorced again. You must sit with your truth—when you do, no one can shame you," she added.
