Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, the senior pastor of Trinity House, has dismissed rumors about his alleged plans to marry Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw. Speculation about the supposed wedding had been circulating on social media, with claims that Aso Ebi (traditional wedding attire) was already being prepared for the event. However, in a recent interview with media personality Osayuwamen Saleh on UpgradeTV, which began trending on Sunday, Pastor Ighodalo firmly denied the rumors, stating that he had no knowledge of such plans.
The clergyman, who lost his wife, Ibidunni Ighodalo, in 2020, expressed surprise at the widespread speculation and emphasized that there was no truth to the claims. He urged the public to disregard the rumors and focus on more meaningful matters. Pastor Ighodalo also highlighted the importance of verifying information before sharing it, especially in the age of social media, where misinformation can spread rapidly.
Kate Henshaw, a respected actress in the Nigerian film industry, has not publicly commented on the rumors. The speculation appears to have originated from unverified sources, sparking unnecessary attention and discussions online. Pastor Ighodalo’s clarification has since put the rumors to rest, with many of his followers and fans expressing relief and support for him.
Addressing the rumour with humour, he remarked that those spreading the news are likely profiting from it. He said, “I loved my wife so much. I take each day as it comes. I don’t know what the future holds. About an Aso Ebi coming out, well, not to the best of my knowledge. The problem with social media is that people feel they can do whatever they want.
