The mother of late singer Mohbad, Abosede Aloba, is in distress after her younger son, Adura, was allegedly abducted by unidentified armed men on Wednesday afternoon.
According to SaharaReporters, Adura was taken away by the armed men, suspected to be police officers, as he left the Magistrates Court in Ogba, Lagos. A family source revealed that Adura had appeared in court regarding a case linked to a phone he sold to Damola Ayinde.
The family source stated that Adura alleged the phone was used to hack his TikTok account and damage his reputation. The court is investigating the matter, but after the proceedings, Adura and two others were taken away by unknown individuals.
Mohbad's mother, unaware of Adura's whereabouts, has pleaded for public support. In a video obtained by SaharaReporters, she was seen weeping, lamenting that unknown men had taken her son. She accused Yomi Fabiyi and Sam Jojo of orchestrating the abduction and stressed that Adura is unwell.
Efforts to reach Yomi Fabiyi and the Lagos State Police Command for comments were unsuccessful. The Command's Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, declined calls and had not responded to a text message as of the time this report was filed.
