Lilian Afegbai Slams Friend For Charging Dollars For Aso Ebi

Nigerian actress Lilian Afegbai has slammed her friend in Lagos for charging dollars for wedding aso ebi.

Afegbai took to Instagram on Wednesday, expressing surprise after discovering that the aso ebi fabric given to her was priced at $1,200.

The actress, in disbelief, remarked that Nigerian brides are going overboard.

She said, “Una Don dey sell aso ebi in dollars for Lagos? You people sell for your own wedding in dollars now? You guys are doing too much.

“A friend of mine sent me her wedding invitation, after which I congratulated her happily. I checked the date to make sure it didn’t clash with timing, that was how I checked the price and saw 1200, I initially thought the price was in Naira, thinking is she doing a giveaway?’

“After checking the link, I saw the dollar sign at the back and I was shocked. I decided to convert it, 1200 times 1600. How many millions is that? For your own wedding and your I do? Is it my I do? It is not good, everybody should relax. There is life after the wedding”.
