Veteran singer Konga has publicly called out Burna Boy, accusing the Grammy-winning star of using his lines and rhythm in multiple songs without acknowledgment.
In a viral TikTok video, Konga pointed out that Burna Boy name-dropped him in Sungba Remix with Asake and allegedly borrowed elements of his rhythm and lyrics in Update.
"Burna Boy, this video is for you. You name-dropped me in your song with Asake, and I noticed you also used some of my lines and rhythm in your new release. It’s clear you like my vibe," Konga stated.
Rather than taking legal action, the veteran singer is demanding that Burna Boy compensate him by jumping on the remix of his song, Kabakaba Remix, alongside Tiwa Savage.
“I love that you’re using my craft, and I appreciate it. But I want you and Tiwa Savage on Kabakaba Remix. I call you out in peace.”
Fans are now eagerly watching to see if Burna Boy will respond or ignore the claims altogether. Will Konga get his request, or will this turn into a heated music industry feud?
