Hip-hop mogul Kanye West has stirred controversy after unveiling his list of the 12 greatest rappers of all time—and Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and other modern rap legends didn’t make the cut.

Taking to his X handle, Kanye named his "Rap Kings", listing:

🔥 Kanye West
🔥 Jay-Z
🔥 Drake
🔥 Notorious B.I.G.
🔥 2Pac
🔥 50 Cent
🔥 Eminem
🔥 LL Cool J
🔥 Run DMC
🔥 Nas
🔥 Rakim

While some fans agreed with his picks, others slammed him for snubbing Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, and other modern rap powerhouses.

Kanye has previously dismissed Kendrick’s music, calling it “very good but not for him.” He also criticized J. Cole for apologizing to Kendrick after a rap battle.
