Popular TikTok star Murja Ibrahim Kunya has been arrested by the EFCC in Kano State for allegedly mutilating and abusing the Naira by spraying money at events—an act considered illegal under Nigerian law.
According to a source within the EFCC, Murja is currently in custody, as the anti-graft agency continues its crackdown on individuals flaunting cash at public gatherings such as parties and birthdays.
Her arrest follows similar detentions of fellow TikTok influencers, including Al’amin G-Fresh and Ashir Idris, on related charges.
So far, neither the EFCC nor Murja’s legal team have issued an official statement on the matter, leaving fans wondering what’s next for the social media sensation.
