Hip-hop mogul Diddy made a shocking courtroom appearance on Friday in New York, unveiling a dramatic transformation as he pleaded not guilty to updated charges, including forced labour.
The music icon, known for his polished image, surprised many by sporting a full white beard and white hair, appearing noticeably older and heavier in his tan prison-issued outfit. Reports suggest he has stopped dyeing his hair as his trial date looms just over a month away.
During the hearing at Manhattan’s federal court, Judge Arun Subramanian read out the updated indictment, but when asked if he wanted it read in full, Diddy simply responded, “No, sir.”
Despite the serious nature of the charges, the rapper-turned-businessman remained in high spirits, even waving and smiling at his children, Christian ‘King’ and Chance Combs, who were in attendance.
