A Kenyan woman, Hellen Mutimu, who claims Cubana Chief Priest fathered her child, has publicly appealed to Imo State Governor Hope Uzodinma to step in and mediate their paternity dispute.
Mutimu gained attention in January after alleging that she had a brief affair with the socialite in Lagos back in April 2022, which led to her pregnancy.
According to her, she reached out to Cubana Chief Priest multiple times after giving birth, but he cut off all communication. Despite her repeated calls for a DNA test to confirm her claim, she says he has remained unresponsive.
Cubana Chief Priest, whose real name is Pascal Okechukwu, has dismissed the allegations, insisting he is not the father of the child.
On Mother’s Day, Mutimu took to Instagram to make a direct plea to Governor Uzodinma, urging him to intervene and convince Cubana Chief Priest to accept responsibility.
She also lamented the financial struggles of raising the child alone, calling for assistance while restating her request for a paternity test.
“Please @he_hopeuzodimma of Imo State, I need your help. Talk to Pascal Okechukwu, aka Cubana Chief Priest, to please help his son in Kenya and for the DNA test to be done. @he_chiomauzodimma, bikonu (please), the baby is struggling here in Kenya—no food or anything to feed the boy,” she wrote.
At the time of filing this report, neither Cubana Chief Priest nor Governor Uzodinma’s office has responded to her plea.
