Singer Portable Now Wanted by Ogun Police After Alleged Brutal Attack on Officials

In a shocking development, the Ogun State Police Command has officially declared singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, as wanted. This follows an alleged violent assault on government officials in Ota, marking a severe escalation in the singer's legal troubles.

The incident unfolded on February 5, 2025, during a routine enforcement operation by officials from the Ogun State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development at Oke-Osa, Tigbo Ilu Ota. While inspecting buildings, the officials encountered an elderly man, identified as Portable's father, who stated that his son was not available. 

Moments later, Portable, reportedly armed and leading a group of nine thugs, launched an attack on the unarmed officials, resulting in injuries. The victims, although hurt, managed to report the assault to the local police command, escalating the matter to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further action.

While nine of Portable's accomplices were apprehended, the singer himself escaped and has evaded police summons since. With repeated no-shows at the Ogun State Police Command Headquarters, a court order has now been issued declaring him a fugitive. 

The police are actively seeking public assistance to locate Portable, with a stern warning that anyone found aiding or harboring him will face legal consequences. Information leading to his capture can be reported to any police station or through the official channels of the Ogun State Police Command.

Social media has been abuzz with various reactions, ranging from ridicule to calls for justice. Some users are speculating on potential incentives for information leading to his arrest, while fans are divided, with many urging Portable to surrender.
