Hollywood star Selena Gomez has opened up about her romantic past, revealing a long list of childhood crushes before saying "yes" to her fiancé, producer Benny Blanco.
In an interview with W Magazine, the singer and actress shared nostalgic memories of her early infatuations, admitting, “I had too many crushes before getting engaged.” Selena confessed that her first major crush was Jesse McCartney, who stole her heart with his hit song Beautiful Soul.
“I loved Chad Michael Murray from One Tree Hill,” she added, reminiscing about her admiration for the heartthrob. “But honestly, I had more crushes on people in real life than on actors or musicians.”
Selena also recounted her guest appearance on The Suite Life of Zack & Cody as a pivotal moment in her early crush-filled years. “I was 11 or 12, and I had my first kiss with Dylan Sprouse on set. It was hilarious because we were both so young and nervous. We had no idea what we were doing!”
Now 32, Selena recently announced her engagement to longtime boyfriend Benny Blanco via Instagram, sparking excitement among her fans. The couple has kept their relationship largely private, but their engagement marks a new chapter for the Rare singer.
Selena’s candid reflections remind fans that even superstars go through those awkward, crush-filled phases before finding their true love. Congratulations to Selena and Benny!
