In a recent episode of Hip TV's Trending, Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck shared his thoughts on fame and success in the music industry. Contrary to what many might expect, Odumodublvck revealed that fame is not his primary goal.
"I never wanted to be famous," he stated candidly. Instead, his focus has always been on making a meaningful impact through his music. For Odumodublvck, riches and fame are secondary to the positive influence he hopes to have on his listeners.
This refreshing perspective on success is a testament to Odumodublvck's commitment to his craft and his values. In an industry where fame and fortune often seem to be the ultimate measures of success, Odumodublvck's priorities are a breath of fresh air.
Speaking on the case of riches and fame the street hop artist had this to say :
“I have never tried to be famous. The way people say they want fame, like the way people say they are looking for money—people want fame. I have never wanted fame. I have never thought about it,” he said.
When I started my music career, I never thought of being famous. I only thought about doing nice stuff and impacting people with it.
“Promoting myself equates to being famous, but that kind of fame is different from the TV’s ‘rich and famous.’ I have never bought into that context.”
