Nigerian Afrobeats star Ruger has revealed that relationships aren’t his forte, despite his self-proclaimed "lover boy" nature.

Reflecting on his experiences, Ruger shared: “I’m a loverboy. It is now that I understand that relationships don’t work for me. My first instinct when I see a girl is to think about getting serious with her. But later I just become unserious all of a sudden.”
The Girlfriend crooner also addressed his interactions with female fans, emphasizing that he keeps things strictly professional during performances: “Honestly, the most I can give a female fan on stage is a flower. It is like we are working together. I don’t see it beyond the stage.”
