Gospel artist and founder of Spotlite Nation, Moses Bliss, has finally addressed the unexpected departure of his former signee, Ebuka Songs.

Speaking at a press conference during The Experience 2024 music concert, where both performed separately, Bliss clarified the circumstances surrounding the split and dispelled rumors of bad blood.

Ebuka Songs, known for his powerful worship anthems, left Spotlite Nation just 11 months into a three-year contract. Bliss revealed that while Ebuka’s early exit was unexpected, it was amicable.

“He just said he wants to do things on his own,” Bliss explained. “Our contract didn’t end when it was supposed to, but I prayed about it and said, ‘You can go.’”

Despite the premature end to their professional relationship, Moses Bliss emphasized that there’s no animosity between them.

“We hold no grudge against him. The goal is for Jesus to be seen. Our goal is to give people the opportunity to minister the gospel,” Bliss said.

He also expressed gratitude for having been part of Ebuka’s journey, saying, “I love him and wish him the best.”

Both artists’ performances at The Experience 2024 reinforced their shared commitment to spreading the gospel through music. While their paths may have diverged, their message remains unified: making Jesus known.
