Jay-Z Slams “False and Heinous” Allegations in Rape Lawsuit, Challenges Accuser to File Criminal Complaint

American rap icon Sean Carter, popularly known as Jay-Z, has fired back at allegations of statutory rape involving a 13-year-old girl in 2000.

The lawsuit, filed by attorney Tony Buzbee, accuses the rapper of participating in the alleged crime alongside disgraced music mogul Sean Combs, aka Diddy.

In a strongly worded statement shared on his social media pages, Jay-Z categorically denied the allegations, labeling them as “false and blackmail.”

Jay-Z revealed that his legal team received a demand letter from Buzbee, which he described as an attempt to coerce a settlement by leveraging public scrutiny.

“My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a ‘lawyer’ named Tony Buzbee,” Jay-Z said.

“What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle. No sir, it had the opposite effect!”

The rapper further challenged Buzbee to file a criminal complaint if the allegations were genuine, stating: “These allegations are so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one!”

Jay-Z insisted that real justice should be sought if the allegations were true, remarking: “Whomever would commit such a crime against a minor should be locked away, would you not agree? These alleged victims would deserve real justice if that were the case.”

This lawsuit follows mounting legal issues for Diddy, who was arrested in September by Homeland Security on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and interstate transportation for prostitution.

The allegations against Diddy, who has been a longtime ally of Jay-Z, have only added fuel to the public interest in this latest legal drama.

As the situation unfolds, all eyes are on Tony Buzbee to see if a criminal complaint will follow the civil lawsuit. Meanwhile, Jay-Z remains firm in his stance, vowing to expose what he calls a fraudulent attempt to tarnish his name.
