Veteran Nigerian actor and politician Desmond Elliot has dismissed rumors questioning his sexuality, calling it a “publicity stunt” from online gossip blogs.

In a candid interview with TVC, Elliot brushed off the claims, stating, “Why would I respond to baseless allegations? It doesn’t affect my life in any way.” He expressed that his focus remains on making a positive impact, adding, “As long as I’m affecting people positively, I’m good.”
When pressed on his stance, he said, “Let me make it clear—I am straight. You couldn’t find anyone straighter.” Emphasizing respect for personal choices within legal boundaries, Elliot noted, “If someone chooses to identify as something, that’s their prerogative within the law. But for me, my path is set.”
Elliot’s response has garnered support from fans, commending his unbothered approach to handling public opinion.
