Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, is marking his 32nd birthday with heartfelt reflections on life’s ups and downs.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) ahead of his special day on November 21, the Omo Baba Olowo hitmaker shared a glimpse into his journey, acknowledging the challenges he has faced while expressing gratitude to God and his loyal fans.
In a candid post, Davido wrote: “Big 32 soon! Omo, God is good. Happy to be alive! My eyes don see shege! But steady my fans dey shout shekpe!”
Despite his fame and success, the singer revealed that life hasn’t always been smooth sailing. Yet, his unwavering spirit and the support of his fans have kept him going.
True to his giving nature, Davido recently announced that he would donate N300 million to orphanages in celebration of his birthday. This follows a similar gesture in 2021, when he donated N250 million to 292 orphanages across Nigeria in commemoration of his 29th birthday.
The news of his reflections and philanthropy has sent fans into a frenzy, with many celebrating his resilience and generosity.
