The founder of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, Lazarus Muoka, has responded to criticisms leveled against his church by popular social media critic Martins Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan, claiming that the influencer is now facing consequences for his remarks.
Muoka’s comments come amid the ongoing investigation into allegations involving crossdresser Bobrisky, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), and Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) officials.

VeryDarkMan recently appeared before the House of Representatives' joint committee on financial crimes and reformatory institutions, which is probing a leaked audio in which Bobrisky allegedly admitted to bribing officials with N15 million to avoid serving a six-month prison sentence for money laundering.
The controversy surrounding the leaked audio has led to intense public scrutiny, with figures such as VeryDarkMan taking part in the conversation.

In a now-viral video, Pastor Muoka reacted to the situation, suggesting that VeryDarkMan is "learning the hard way" due to his previous criticisms of the church. "Somebody came to tell me that one man called VeryDarkMan said Chosen people will learn something the hard way," Muoka said. "And I said no, Chosen will not learn something the hard way; he is the one that will learn the hard way. What is happening today? He is the one learning something the hard way."
This back-and-forth stems from earlier remarks made by VeryDarkMan, who criticized the church’s popular phrase “I am chosen,” which sparked widespread attention following the congregation's controversial testimonies.
The unfolding drama continues to generate conversation online, with fans and critics of both VeryDarkMan and the Lord's Chosen Church debating the pastor's statements and the implications of the ongoing investigation. As tensions rise, many are left wondering what further developments will come from the House of Representatives' investigation and the role figures like VeryDarkMan will play in it.
