In a significant legal development, the Ikeja High Court in Lagos State has ordered social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, to delete all defamatory videos involving human rights lawyer Femi Falana, SAN.

The court further instructed the controversial activist to cease making any additional comments about the Falanas, following an ongoing legal dispute.

The case arose after VeryDarkMan released a voice recording on September 24, 2024, in which cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, alleged that Falana’s son, singer Falz, had contacted him during his six-month jail term, supposedly facilitating a pardon. The accusation stirred considerable controversy, with Falana pushing back against the claims and calling them defamatory.

In response, the Falanas filed a demand for a public retraction and an apology from VeryDarkMan within 24 hours, warning of further legal action if he failed to comply. Falana, though initially resisting the temptation to file a criminal complaint, has pursued legal recourse to defend his reputation, resulting in the court’s recent ruling.

The high-profile case has drawn widespread attention on social media, as the court's decision is seen as a victory for the Falanas, while VeryDarkMan’s supporters continue to express skepticism over the unfolding drama.
