Veteran Nollywood actress Bimbo Akintola has opened up about her single status at 54, revealing that she remains unmarried because she lost her soulmate.

When asked why she’s still single, Akintola responded: “He died. The person wey me fit do forever for don die.” She went on to explain that finding her soulmate was no easy feat and that she’s not interested in settling for just anyone. “Do you know how long it took me to find him?” she asked.
The actress also emphasized that she won’t let societal pressure force her into marriage just to please others. Despite this, she clarified that she still believes in the institution of marriage but hasn’t found anyone who matches the connection she had with her late partner.
