Yul Edochie Weighs in on Anthony Joshua’s Loss, Declares, "Boxing Don Tire Him!"

In the latest episode of "Celebrities Sharing Unsolicited Opinions," controversial Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has graced us with his profound take on Anthony Joshua’s recent knockout defeat to Daniel Dubois.

Yes, you heard that right—the heavyweight boxing champion has now become the subject of expert analysis by none other than... a Nollywood actor. Because clearly, when it comes to boxing strategy, Yul has all the insight we’ve been missing.

Following Joshua’s fifth-round knockout on September 21, 2024, Yul took to Instagram to deliver a punchy critique. According to the actor, AJ’s defeat wasn’t due to Dubois’ skill but because, apparently, boxing itself has grown tired of him.

“No disrespect to Anthony Joshua,” Yul began, (because starting with "no disrespect" always means something respectful is coming) before stating that AJ "never looked like he took the fight seriously" throughout the match buildup. Ah yes, because who else would be better at reading a boxer’s mental state than someone who’s... never boxed?

Of course, Yul still threw in a dash of loyalty, just to keep his AJ fan club membership card intact. “I’m still a fan of AJ but the result pain me. E pain me,” he confessed dramatically, as if this heartbreak somehow surpasses the actual bruises AJ received at Wembley.

And the fans? Well, they’re absolutely delighted with Yul's sudden shift from movie scripts to match analysis. After all, if this acting thing doesn’t pan out, there's always the option of becoming the next great boxing commentator—or at least continuing to give us "expert" opinions on Instagram.

See the post below:

In any case, Anthony Joshua might want to give Yul a call for some advice ahead of his next fight—because clearly, boxing’s "tiring" symptoms were there all along, and we just missed them.
