Nigerian music sensation Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, has opened up about the wildest rumor he’s seen about himself.

Speaking on the 'Kids Take Over' podcast, the Calm Down hitmaker revealed that being labeled as a “devil worshiper” tops the list of absurd claims made against him online.

Laughing off the speculation, Rema said, “They say I worship the devil. It’s crazy. I didn’t respond to it because it’s not important. It’s a waste of time.” The Afrobeats star further explained that the symbols people often misinterpret as satanic are actually rooted in his Edo culture and reflect his artistic expression.

Rema also touched on his 2020 collaboration with Canadian superstar Drake for the song Mention Me, which unfortunately leaked before its official release. “I’m happy to work with a legend like Drake. I feel like we are going to make a very huge song if we take our time to build something very strong,” he added.

Rema’s comments have sparked a wave of reactions, with many fans applauding his calm approach to handling baseless accusations while others express excitement over his potential future work with Drake.
